floppies: typical format for the distribution of serial comics; these are the softcover comics that are spineless and usually printed on fairly flimsy paper.
trade paperback: a collection of issues from a comic series; usually collects one story arc from the title in one volume; printed as paperback or hardcover books.
digital comics: digitized versions of comics that can be read on a computer or other device.
